NITE and Club Guy & Roni are looking for a inspicient specialising in Lighting. Starting autumn 2025 (exact date to be discussed)

Are you a hands-on problem solver who keeps the artistic vision in focus? We’re looking for a Stage Manager with a specialisation in lighting to strengthen our team.

Who are we?

We are Club Guy & Roni and NITE – the National Interdisciplinary Theater Ensemble. We create energetic, boundary-pushing, interdisciplinary performances that attract new, young, and diverse audiences both inside and outside traditional theatre spaces. Together, we form the largest interdisciplinary theatre house in the Netherlands.

Professionalism, excellence, openness, and respect are core to our company culture. These values help us achieve our artistic and societal goals. We are building an organisation that embraces diversity as a strength and where everyone feels welcome and appreciated.

Who are we looking for?

Inspicient – Lighting Specialist
Full-time
Starting autumn 2025 (in consultation)

What will you do?

As inspicient with a specialisation in lighting, you are responsible for managing lighting during rehearsals, build-ups, and touring performances. You’re comfortable working across disciplines and take collective responsibility for delivering high-quality productions with your tech team. You are capable of reproducing the lighting setup in various theatres and keeping oversight during performances.

Besides working on touring shows, you’ll also be involved in events at our home base, the Machinefabriek in Groningen. There, you’ll help manage the technical inventory and support the overall maintenance of the space. Occasionally, you’ll also work across other technical areas, assisting with set, sound, rigging, or video. You’ll help maintain our lighting equipment and contribute ideas for innovation and sustainability in our lighting design.

This is not a 9-to-5 job. You’ll be expected to work evenings and weekends as needed—especially during tech weeks and premieres. For this reason, we prefer candidates who live in or are willing to relocate to Groningen.

What do you bring?
