NACHTWACHT selected for the Dutch Theatre Festival

We’re proud to announce that NACHTWACHT has been officially selected for the 2024 Dutch Theatre Festival. The jury named the production one of the very best performances of the season, and director Guy Weizman has been nominated for the Best Director Award.

“Nachtwacht explored themes of grief, power, and our relationships with parents and children – big topics that moved us deeply. But the process of making it gave us something, too. It was healing — for us as a team, and, as we heard from audiences, for them as well. The reactions were intense: emotion, gratitude, even relief. The fact that it was nearly sold out everywhere, despite being a show about death, says something. Not about us — but about how much need there is for honesty. For space to face what’s difficult. Theatre is exactly the place for that. A place to crack something open that you might not dare look at alone.”
