Max Frimout

Max (1999, Nuenen) makes electronic music with modular synthesizers and computer programs. He experiments live with other disciplines, such as dance and visual art. He also studies Physics at the Technical University of Eindhoven.

“At a young age I played with a small harp belonging to my mother. Later I turned out to be more interested in the lights and sounds coming out of her synthesizer. My father is an electrical engineer and bought a software package for recording her harp music. I then started using that program to make my own music. I’ve always had an interest in creating crazy sounds.”

In 2024 Max composes for the performance of Faith.
