Kim Boogaard

Kim Boogaard, slowly climbing out of her safe bubble, breaking out of the four walls of the Toneelacademie Maastricht. (institute of performing arts) And she is heading far, from the south to the north all the way across the other side of the country in Groningen to work on Fall Failing.

Kim spent four years of falling and failing but most of all developing herself as an actress, as a mover (her first love), making video’s and theatre. Her works are always very intuitive and sensory, working with rich visuals and soundscapes. It may feel very ritualistic, intimate, spiritual, symbolic, archetypical and dreamlike or is it more a nightmare?
